I am a story & visual development artist and illustrator, dedicated to producing diverse and inspiring content in animation. My goal is to master my drawing skills to tell visual stories clearly, creatively, and in the most engaging way possible.
I am a lifelong student of cinema and walking IMDB, with nearly two decades of on-set experience in many roles and all scales of production. I’ve been a producer, writer, director, cinematographer, editor, and animator for countless short films, music videos, and documentaries. I’ve written call sheets for Gossip Girl, set picture cars for Jack Ryan, and wrangled cast for Marvel’s The Avengers. I’ve even played a hostage to John Travolta in The Taking of Pelham 123. I know what it takes to tell good stories, and it shows in my artwork.
As a Filipino American, I aim to use my unique perspective and insight to provide more inclusive and collaborative storytelling. I believe animation is a collective learning experience unmatched in its ability to inspire, innovate, and educate, and it’s a legacy I hope to grow in and contribute to with lasting effect.
I am also a proud New York native; a constant study for my therapist wife; father to a 5-year old supervillain; and best friend to an overworked emotional support dog. There’s a never-ending stack of comics at my bedside, and the turtle is my power animal.
